NAW
Special General Meeting
As it stands, any changes to the NAW membership levies must be passed at an AGM or SGM. This means that any changes to the levies therefore cannot come into effect until the following financial year. The ability of the NAW committee to respond to any perceived need
to increase subscription levies and execute a change will therefore be much delayed. It is our intention to call a Special General Meeting to pass the notice of motion given below.

Currently the Rules require that the annual membership levies of the NAW be set at an AGM or SGM. The Committee proposes to change the following Rule:
“The joining fee (if any) and subscriptions (which may vary between different classes of membership) shall be fixed either by a General Meeting or by the Committee, and once fixed shall remain the same until altered in a like manner.”
