Taupo Jamboree 2008
Over the weekend of 7 to 9 March 2008, 60 turners and a number of observers gathered for the first Taupo Jamboree. This event takes over from the Turangi Jamboree, with the venue now in Taupo.
The Spa Hotel complex on Upper Spa Road was the was where it all happened, and with Accommodation, the resturant and bar and the venue for the event all on the same site, A great weekend was had by all.
As you can see from the following photos, a lot of fun was had, and I hear that next year the plans are to use the same venue, but with even more room to house turners and their toys. See you there.
